License Settings
The License tab of Settings shows your license status and lets you buy, activate, and deactivate LogRaker. A single license activates LogRaker on more than one Mac at once.
Status
The top of the tab shows your current state: a free trial with the days remaining, a fully licensed copy, or an unlicensed copy once the trial has ended.
Buying a license
Click Buy LogRaker… to purchase a license. In the direct-download edition this opens the purchase page on the website; in the Mac App Store edition you buy through the App Store.
Activating
Click Enter License… and paste your license key to activate this Mac. One license activates up to a set number of Macs at once - and your other Macs activate automatically over iCloud: once you've activated one, the rest unlock without re-entering your key. (If your seats are all in use, deactivate LogRaker on one of your other Macs first to free a seat.) Once activated, the tab shows who the license is registered to, the purchase date, whether it expires, and the license key (click Copy license key to copy it). In the Mac App Store edition this button reads Restore Purchase and restores your purchase through the App Store instead.
Activated Macs
The list shows every Mac the license is currently activated on, and the header summarizes how many of the available seats are in use. Click Refresh to update the list and seat count from the server.
Each other Mac in the list has its own Deactivate button, so you can free a seat from any of your Macs - handy if you sold or erased a Mac, or deleted LogRaker on it without deactivating first. (Your current Mac is marked (This Mac); use Deactivate This Mac below to release it.) A Mac you deactivate this way returns to trial mode the next time it checks in, and you can re-activate it anytime with your key.
Deactivating this Mac
Click Deactivate This Mac to free this Mac's seat so you can use it on another machine. LogRaker confirms first; you can re-activate with your key at any time.
